Bio
Keri Healey is a writer, director, and actor living in Seattle. Her most recent writing includes the teen musical HIGH TIDE AND THREEFORKS (Village Theatre), PARROT FEVER (OR, LIES I`VE TOLD IN CHAT ROOMS) (originally workshopped at the 2002 Mae West Fest produced by Etheral Mutt Limited in Seattle in 2003 at Union Garage and at the Bumbershoot Arts Festival, and produced by theatre simple in 2004 at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in Australia and at The Flipside Arts Festival in Singapore), NO DEMERITS FOR DANCING (Beaver Creek Theatre Festival in Vail, Colorado and the 2002 Seattle Fringe Festival, FronteraFest in Austin, Texas). CHERRY CHERRY LEMON was cited as Best Production by the Austin American-Statesman. Her other plays include PENETRALIA, THE HISTORY OF ACCIDENTAL DEATH IN CARROLL COUNTY, FALL FASHION ISSUES, and ALL THE ADVANTAGES. Keri is also the author of numerous short plays and a collection of short stories entitled "Jealous Boys". In 2002 she was a writer-in-residence at the Willard R. Espy Literary Foundation in Oysterville, WA and now serves on that organization`s board of directors. She is founding member of Seattle`s notorious shadow puppet troupe, Sgt. Rigsby and His Amazing Silhouettes, and enjoys lending her voice to numerous CD-rom games. She is most proud that hers is the voice of Ichiro on Backyard Baseball.
